Takedown

Correction or removal

Last updated 3 September 2026

We act within 7 days. You do not need an EXC account. You do not have to explain why.

Email exc-analyzer@outlook.com or use the form below.

What we will remove, on request

  • Your GitHub login, from every scan result about a repository you own. If it appears anywhere else — in a post, in a comment, or inside a scan result about somebody else's repository — tell us where and we remove it by hand
  • Any scan result about a repository you own — the score, the findings, all of it
  • Your EXC account and everything attached to it, if you have one

What we need

Your GitHub login, or the repository as owner/repo. That is all. If the request is about a repository, we check that you are the owner or an admin through GitHub's public API — we do not ask you to prove anything to us directly.

What happens next

1. We delete the rows. Every scan result about that repository.

2. We add your GitHub login to a suppression list. A later scan of a repository you own will refuse to save, so nobody can put it back. The list matches the account that owns the repository; anything else carrying your name is removed by hand when you point us at it.

3. We email you to confirm.

Removal is permanent unless you ask us to undo it.

If a finding is wrong rather than unwanted

Tell us which check is wrong and why. We re-run the scan. If the finding was wrong we remove it and publish a dated correction on the repository's page. While a result is disputed we mark it Disputed on the page, until we have re-checked it.

We would rather be corrected than be right.

Everything else

Data protection requests — access, correction, erasure, objection, portability, or an objection to an automated result about you — go to the same address: exc-analyzer@outlook.com. We answer within 30 days, free of charge. See Privacy.

Abuse, harassment or illegal content in posts and comments: report it from the post itself if you have an account, or email the same address.
